Johann Martin Mack (1715-1784), born in Leisingen, Württemberg, was sent to Georgia (1735) shortly after he joining the Moravians. Came to Nazareth (1740), one of the founders of Bethlehem, missionary among the Indians (1742-60), missionary in the Caribbean, consecrated a bishop (1770). He died in Friedenstal, St. Croix.
